Being Caring

Yesterday Gavin was recognized at school for having been "caring". He got a cool little trophy (like this one, but this is not a photo of his) and to enjoy a pizza lunch with the principal. Yay, Gav!

"Do you want to hear a story?"

"Once, a squirrel jumped on my head."

"It chased me to the car."

"When I got into the car, it knocked on my door."

"Then, it got on my windshield wipers. Then, I turned on my windshield wipers."

"It went flying off my windshield wipers."

This book is based on a true story* that happened to our friend, Jessi, just the other day. Written and Illustrated by Aubrey. Jessi says "Kumon took her 45 minutes; this took her five."
